How to install Mida using Google Tag Manager (GTM)

Introduction

Using a Tag Manager to insert the Mida tracking code on a page is not the best option because the script loads after the page has finished loading, which causes delay until the experiment changes are applied.

Users may experience a flickering effect, seeing the original page before the changes to the variation content are displayed.

We do not recommend using any Tag Manager (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium) to insert the primary tracking code on a page.

However, if you don't have easy access to your site's source code to add the Mida script, you can use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to inject it.

If you experience a flickering effect after GTM installation, adding Mida’s anti-flickering script to the HEAD section of your experiment page can help improve user experience.
