2-min video demo:
Every project in Mida has its own unique project snippet. You can use the same project snippet for testing across different websites or domains by adding the same project snippet to all the websites or domains you want to test or track goals in the same project.
Please note, each website or landing page can only have ONE (1) Mida snippet on it. If you add more than one, it might cause Mida to malfunction.
How to find your unique project snippet/ script:
On the left panel menu, click 'View All Projects'.
Next, find the project and click on 'Install Tracking Code' to obtain your unique project script. If you do not have existing project, click on 'Add Website'.
To start cross-domain testing or tracking goals, simply copy your unique project script and add it within the <HEAD> tag on each desired domains. It's important to note that this script contains a project key linking all domains that share this script under one Mida project.
After you've added the same script across your domains, ensure you verify the installation for each domain to confirm it's all set up correctly.
Example
If you want to run test on a landing page called www.howuku.com and want to track a goal on a different site called www.mida.so, here's what you should do:
First, create a new project and give it a meaningful name, something like "Howuku > Mida" would work. This helps you remember which sites are under this project.
Next, find the project script. You can do this by clicking on 'Install Tracking Code'.
Once you have the script, you should add it to the <head> section of both www.howuku.com and www.mida.so. By using the same script on both sites, Mida can link them together in the same project and track what's happening.
Finally, verify each site (www.howuku.com and www.mida.so) one by one to make sure the script was added correctly.
